November 27
I'm new to this weblog stuff but I thought that I might be better at keeping it updated as opposed to sending out letters. So I will try to keep it up to date as to what is going on in our lives and most likely some random stuff as well just to keep it interesting.

The latest is that I have been helping Climbing for Christ as the missions coordinator since last June or July (for free) and recently the board of directors approved a salary(small) for me starting in July 2006. As long as they have the money in the coffers. Check out the website at www.climbingforchrist.org -great opportunity for an end of the year donation.

Firewood sales are up. Wood is getting hard to find as the loggers are selling to the pulp mills who are still paying top dollar. I raised my price this year and still had orders for everything that I had and had a waiting list. That is slowing down as I only have a couple of cords left.

I haven't been on a climbing tower build with Signature Research in quite some time (Aug or Sept I think). That makes things tight financially. We hope that they will need me in December.

Our van is still in the shop (since may or june). This is getting ridiculous. Not sure what God is trying to teach us through that one?

We had a good Thanksgiving staying at home and relaxing with immediate family and friends but, missed traveling to visit the extended friends and relatives. Pray that we will get our van back soon and that we will have the money to pay for it (hopefully he won't charge for storage:).

I (todd) am looking forward to another ice climbing season (if it ever gets cold and stays cold).
I have also been exploring the idea of joining the local search and resue team Lower Adirondack Search And Rescue (LASAR). I really don't need anything else to be involved in (non-paying) but, I thought that it might allow me to have some community involvement and a chance for outreach. We will see.

Coming next post --plans for 2006 --- stay tuned. In His easy yoke, Todd -4- the Paris family
