Wedding weekend

Well it was a crazy logistical nightmare,but Kris and I were able to go down to Bethlehem, PA to attend the wedding of Marc Palmieri, this past weekend. Marc was a counselor for me in the Adirondack Wilderness Adventure program for two years and my intern in the International Wilderness Ministry program for 2 years, so I thought that I should try and be there. Well we made it and it was a nice wedding/reception, we made it home safely, the kids were all still alive and the house was still standing, so overall it was a pretty decent weekend.

Family Day yesterday

Yesterday we went for a hike up Severance mountain in Schroon Lake. Then we got pizza from Alpine and took it to the beach, followed by swimming.

Back home from Costa Rica!

What a great trip to Costa Rica! Kris and I went with a Youth Reachout team from Word of Life for ten days to Costa Rica. We had a great trip doing door-to-door witnessing with local churches, school meetings, sports activities, a childrens meeting, retirement home, and open air evangelism. We had 385 people make a decision to accept the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ! I can't wait to go again....but, its good to be home.

This is a picture of our bus driver Jose' and his 5 year old daughter Nicole. Please pray for them. Jose's wife died of cancer five months ago.

This is at a day-care center for children from under-priviledged homes.

It rained every afternoon. Sometimes VERY hard.

Of course I couldn't go to Costa Rica with out going on a zip-line canopy tour. Awesome!

Meanwhile..back at the ranch...the town decide to redo the wall in front of our house while we were gone.
