Rumney Ruckus

I'm headed to Rumney NH for the weekend to attend a small gathering of climbers. I arranged for the local Baptist church to host a free pasta dinner tonight as a kickoff. Pray that I will be strong salt and light and that I will display the fruit of the Spirit.

On another prayer note. Rachel and Jennifer still need $400 for camp and there is no more funds for scholarships.

Gods amazing provision

God has amazed us once again in the way that He provides. After getting no money in support last month through Climbing for Christ, God provide over and above what our salary would normally be in various ways, all of which were unanticipated by us. We have gotten $700 worth of support so far this month but are still well shy of the needed $2500 per month so continue to pray. We still haven't heard the results of the deacons meeting wed. night about Mountainside supporting us so continue to pray about that.
I'm off today to southern Georgia on a job for Signature Research. Pray for safety and open doors of opportunity, and for my family while I'm away.

Leave it to Dwight

Leave it to Dwight Peterson(and the Holy Spirit) to bring it all back in perspective. Dwight is visiting our church and preaching am and pm (because his bro is our pastor and his son-in-law is our new intern youth pastor). He preached on James 1. Thanks Dwight I needed that.

I got my skidsteer started Sat and finished the job but was unable to go climbing with a guy that I was supposed to meet.

Please pray the next couple of days. Our Deacons will be meeting on Wed to discuss our support.

15 year milestone

Kris and I were able to get away to celebrate our anniversary. We spent two nights at a B&B in the heart of the High Peaks called The Rock & River. We were the only ones there in the guides house so we had the place to ourselves.

Back to life on friday. My alternator is dead on my dump truck, my trailer brakes don't work, and my skidsteer quit and won't start. I wish God would choose that we would have our financial support so that I would haven't to mess with this kind of stuff.
