God's provision

Found a brand new-in-the-box storm door by the side of the road with free on it yesterday. I brought it home and installed it with only a small amount of custom fabrication. Kris has been wanting one on the back door for a while so that she can leave it open with a screen door for air. Its a nice one too. Praise the LORD!

Ruckus review and other stuff

Thanks for your prayers. A lot has taken place since my last post. I will attempt to cover the highlights.

Rumney Ruckus went great! The first Baptist church put on an incredible spaghetti dinner for the climbers on friday night. I met and climbed with a bunch of really great people who have become my friends. I look forward to the next time we can climb together. Continue to pray for my new friends as they are in various stages in their relationship with God.

Praise the Lord! He supplied the funds for me to go to New Hampshire for the Ruckus!
I drove home Sunday afternoon packed my tool boxes and flew Monday am to Georgia for a challenge course build with Signature Research. One of the guys I worked with was Randy Teachout, an MK who parents were supported by West Endicott Baptist Church where I grew up! I am constantly amazed at how small the world is.

While dad was away working, the family was able to go to the Adirondack Museum (free in June for residents). Rachel wasn't there because she has a summer job to support her shopping hobby.

Melissa was able to nurture her love of animals by caring for friends pets while they were away on vacation.

I got home friday night at 12:30 and then Saturday we did a family day at Great Escape. Word of Life Ranch was doing a bike/cowboy demo in conjunction with Glory day.

Rachel was pretty excited about a concert by Hawk Nelson complete with a mighty rushing wind, thunder/lightning and heavy rain.
We checked Rachel and Jennifer in late for a week of camp on Sat night and Sunday morn. Rachel's quiz team won the national championship on Sunday afternoon! Jennifer jr high team came in third place.
I think that brings us up to date.
